Our Sweet love story
The First "Hello"
09th March 2022 The story begins with a "Hello", when we met through one of the dating matrimony app.
As you might have guessed - we texted each other for hours, but then it was followed by a
looooong pause. Our talk only resumed after we settled a bit after our travels. It so happened
that we resumed our chit-chat on the Bengali's New Year the following month, and it just never
stopped. Every Night! 🧿
First Time We Meet
27th May 2022The conversations grew deep, and deeper - the calls went long and longer. The customary Yes or No never happened, maybe the family saw it on our faces! hahah! but the day to meet was locked. We were quite excited to meet, and the reverse countdown started. When the day arrived, and we met for the first time, we rarely talked. Though over the next few days we indeed got comfortable. When in-front of parents, the conversations flowed underneath the table with messages through Whatsapp and the occasional exchange of looks and smiles. A week later we met again, at a different place, and this time the bond grew stronger with the more time we spent together. 💗
Did She Say Yes?
26th January 2023Something unique from the rest that happened in our story was that we never had an actual video call before the physical first meet. All our long interactions were mostly through text and the only refernce we had was to that of the pictures we saw on our matrimony profiles - So this led to a `Main Hoon Naa` moment when we first met each other. The video call happened after first meet and it soon replaced the text message. Though we still texted each other from time to time, but video calls where more fun. We had all sorts of activities that LDR couples do, from watching movies, to playing games, to our video-call dates. You say it, and we have probably done it! Through the course of time, we had our ups and downs, but it was quite fun. Usually, In a arranged marriage setup there would probably be a detour when the couple say "Yes" to each other. Funny enough, don't know why but that never happened for us. We still don't know when we started preparing for our marriages, and soon we are now in January 2023 with few days left to the D-Day .
